What We Know About the 2021 Ram ProMaster
Here on the Jim Cogdill blog we like to keep you updated on all the latest news coming from your favorite FCA brands, including Ram, Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler. Recently, Ram made a big appearance at The Work Truck Show in Indianapolis and we have some exciting news about the upcoming ProMaster for 2021.
Among the exciting features on display are some new and optional safety equipment features. For example, Crosswind Assist will now be included as standard, helping the van handle windy conditions.
2021 ProMaster Safety Options
Those courtesy lights truly make the ProMaster an effective mobile office. By doing a better job of illuminating at lower levels, the ProMaster’s lighting is improved to assist with productivity and safety.
One of the features that excites us most, however, is the digital rearview mirror. This is a class-exclusive feature and is a serious game changer for the segment.
Using a rear-mounted camera, the mirror isn’t really a mirror at all. Instead, it’s a screen that displays video of what is happening behind the vehicle. If you prefer the mirror configuration, the video can be turned off and you can use it as a traditional rearview mirror.
As in the past, the ProMaster for 2021 will be available in a variety of configurations. In fact, you can choose from 18 different wheelbase and height configurations. All come powered by a V6 engine.
