Jeep released its all-new pickup truck in the spring of 2019, and during its first few months on the market, the Gladiator has been well-received by Jeep-lovers and pickup truck enthusiasts alike. The Gladiator and Wrangler have many similarities, like their boxy style, interchangeable roofs, and some of the same trim level options. Trim levels on the 2020 Jeep Gladiator include Sport, Sport S, Overland and Rubicon. Let’s go through the specs and distinguishing features of each Gladiator trim.

Jeep Gladiator Model Comparison

Gladiator Sport
Starting MSRP: $33,545

The Gladiator Sport is the base trim level of Jeep’s pickup truck. Like all Gladiator models, the Sport has a part-time 4×4 system, and like the Gladiator Sport S, can tow up to 7,650 lbs. The Gladiator Sport comes with a standard 5.0-inch touchscreen display with Uconnect®3 and USB and audio jack inputs. Gladiator Sport S
Starting MSRP: $36,745

While the Sport S has many of the same features as the Sport, there are a few discrepancies. For instance, the Sport S comes with a standard Remote Keyless Entry. It also has available technology like a 7.0-inch touchscreen display, Alpine Premium Audio System, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, Google Android Auto™ and several other audio-related features.

Gladiator Overland
Starting MSRP: $40,395

The Overland is equipped with a 7.0-inch touchscreen display and comes with standard audio technology like Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™ and Google Android Auto™. The Overland takes a turn for off-road driving, as it has all-season tires. The towing capability on the Overland drops to 6,000 lbs. but has standard features like Push-Button Start.

The Jeep Gladiator Rubicon has passed the same off-road driving assessment as the Wrangler Rubicon and has features that are fine-tuned for off-road performance.  For example, the Gladiator Rubicon uses a 4:1 Rock-Trac® Heavy-Duty Part-Time 4WD System, has performance suspension and several other off-road features.
